Kangarilla Road Whites
Familiar aromas of brown lime cordial with undertones of fresh cut pineapple and orange blossom. On tasting there is mouth watering zingy acidity carrying subtle fruit salad flavours with lemon sherbet and schweppes bitter lemon through to a lovely textual finish.
The nose is lemon sherbet and honeysuckle with perfumed hints of bath salts, champagne melon and kaffir lime leaves. On the palate it is all about lemon curd, fresh pears, lime marmalade and dried nectarines with a slight suggestion of struck match.
The sweet scent of glace pears, apricots and lycee intermingle and glimpses of ground coriander seeds. The palate is full of firm and tangy apricots together with both slightly sweet and saline notes reminiscent of fresh crustaceans. A wine of lovely texture and a slight hint of Campari on the finish.
The familiar aromas of rich fruit and nut cake laced with brandy and touches of marzipan. An intriguing flirtation of Cara Cara orange peel and sun warmed ripe apricots hint at what the palate holds. Intense dried apricots soaked in brown lime cordial delight the palate and toffeed apricots are carried to a seemingly never ending finish.
