Silent Noise Wines
Daintily perfumed pot pourri, honeysuckle and pretty bath salts with glimpses of ruby grapefruit on the nose. There are gentle flavours of orange bonbons and Aperol spritz with suggestions of white strawberries which are carried by a lovely textural creaminess. Sunny afternoons in the garden have never tasted better.
The aromas at first are all about pears from ripe pears to sweet dried pears to spiced pear cake. Fragrant bath salts are hooking up with aromatic brown lime cordial and lemon sherbet. Firstly on the palate there are layers of delicious pears embraced in a round and creamy textural mouthfeel. Sweet citrus notes appear with the slightly steely flavour of tinned apricots and pineapple. There is a clean and bright citrus finish that lingers on and on.
Joyous notes of tropical fruits rise up to greet you from the glass. Think pineapple, guava, gold kiwi fruit, strawberries and passionfruit. There is lovely palate weight and creamy texture that provides a structurally complexing character for these exotic vibrant fresh tropical flavours.
At first purple fruit pastilles dominate the nose but then the scent of slightly dusty dried rose petals come to the fore with glimpses of ripe raspberry sweets. The palate is smooth and rounded with a combination of purple and red berry fruits and tinges of cinnamon. The finish is all mocha chocolate delivered by lingering tannins.
Dark pink in colour there is a slight smokiness and enticing hints of boozy strawberry jam.On the palate it is all about a delicious high tea. Gently spiced aromatic Orange Pekoe tea, white bread (crusts off) sandwiches and a selection of gorgeous fresh berry tarts.
So many awesome flavours of berry fruits jump out of the glass including strawberries, raspberries, red cherries and sweet freshly picked plums. These are mixed with concentrated ribena, touches of cinnamon, the fragrance of jonquils and notes of vanilla extract. This wine screams drink me! And you’ll be glad you did. There are strawberries, red cherries and raspberries that are wrapped up in sweet mouth coating tannins. There is vanilla and cinnamon with hints of thyme and oregano. The finish is slightly tart but attractively so, encouraging another sip.
