Aromas of sunkissed fruit including slightly sharp rhubarb, perfumed lychees and zingy blood oranges are enhanced by a touch of creaminess. Initially the palate is all about bright zippy juicy acidity with a pretty herbaceous quality followed by the discovery of a lovely textural mouthfeel. The wine carries an intriguing mix of tropical fruits which linger blissfully.
The aromas at first are all about pears from ripe pears to sweet dried pears to spiced pear cake. Fragrant bath salts are hooking up with aromatic brown lime cordial and lemon sherbet. Firstly on the palate there are layers of delicious pears embraced in a round and creamy textural mouthfeel. Sweet citrus notes appear with the slightly steely flavour of tinned apricots and pineapple. There is a clean and bright citrus finish that lingers on and on.
Joyous notes of tropical fruits rise up to greet you from the glass. Think pineapple, guava, gold kiwi fruit, strawberries and passionfruit. There is lovely palate weight and creamy texture that provides a structurally complexing character for these exotic vibrant fresh tropical flavours.
Initially the aromas are all confectionery and white cherries followed closely by a young vibrant perfume and notes of orange oil. On the palate there's bright red mouthfilling fruit with undertones of savoury dusty dark berry fruits and spice.
Dark pink in colour there is a slight smokiness and enticing hints of boozy strawberry jam.On the palate it is all about a delicious high tea. Gently spiced aromatic Orange Pekoe tea, white bread (crusts off) sandwiches and a selection of gorgeous fresh berry tarts.
Blackberries and blackcurrant conserve meld with floral notes of peony roses and black fruit pastilles and that is before you even taste it! The palate of this medium bodied wine sings of sweet dark berry fruits, fragrant green peppercorns freshly grated beetroot and touches of black coffee crema.
There are awesome aromas of intense violets, blueberries and mulberries with cool hints of cinnamon. Seriously velvety dark berry fruits and black cherries with eastern spices leave a lasting taste which gradually finishes with reminders of dark chocolate covered coffee beans.
