A light elegant expression of perfumed tropical fruit including lychees. There are hints of white strawberries and citrus blossoms, orange Allens snakes and Weiss Fruito Bars. The taste is all delicate citrus blossoms with a delightfully textural mid palate and a deliciously dry finish.
Familiar aromas of brown lime cordial with undertones of fresh cut pineapple and orange blossom. On tasting there is mouth watering zingy acidity carrying subtle fruit salad flavours with lemon sherbet and schweppes bitter lemon through to a lovely textual finish.

A symphony of red and black berries and maraschino cherries jumps out of the glass to greet you and those flavours continue to dance onto the palate.
Primitivo, Sangiovese and Nebbiolo combine to produce engaging aromatics of Eastern spices including cinnamon, cardamom and a hint of fresh vanilla which appear instantly in the glass. Followed quickly by the enticing flavours of red berry fruits, fresh sweet hay and forest floor together with subtle rose overtones. The wine itself is smooth, with a taste of gently poached red fruits and sweet spice. Dark prunes and a touch of anise linger mixed with fine slightly chalky tannins.

Dried apricots, craisins and dried nectarines take over carried by a mouth coating tannin structure. A fantastic wine with food.
The delightful fragrance of rich dark blackcurrant jelly entice you then subtle notes of dried herbs and citrus oil appear. Hints of the exotic aroma of a deeply fragrant tagine add intrigue. There is an almost creamy texture that carries sweet dark berry fruit with hints of marmalade. Cassis appears enrobed in a gossamer of 80% cocoa with glimpses of old slightly dusty cedary cigar boxes, the flavours linger combining with classic fine chalky tannins.
Intense herbal and floral elements reminiscent of wattle flowers dominate with nuances of perfumed blackcurrants. Multiple layers of blackcurrants have a slightly savoury intonation together with roasted ground eastern spices that elevate the wine beyond being merely a delicious fruit bomb to a grown up elegant McLaren Vale Shiraz.
