2009 The Devil's Whiskers Shiraz
• Rating 94 Drink 2024 $35 James Halliday
Slightly more purple to the colour; a very attractive medium– to full-bodied wine, with more obvious fruit richness (even though the alcohol is lower) than Q, but shares the balance and elegance; full-flavoured plum and black cherry fruit with intergrated oak and tannins. Screwcap 14% alc

2009 McLaren Vale Zinfandel
This wine emulates the Californian style & making a wine of substance & complexity.
Fruit intensity consistent with a cooler region of McLaren Vale.
Aromatic, deeply coloured, deeply fruity and cut through with acidity and a fine, firm backbone of tannin.

Vibrant fresh fruit flavours. The high acidity accentuates the fruit & adds to the grip & structure of the wine. The flavour is unique and therefore a must for thrill seekers.

2007 Q Shiraz
94 points. Excellent colour, half suggesting the inclusion of viognier; prolonged oak ageing has not imposed itself on the wine, which is very intense, the quality particularly good for '07; lots of dark chocolate and fluffy tannins. Biodynamic. Drink 2022. Date Tasted Dec 09.
