A symphony of red and black berries and maraschino cherries jumps out of the glass to greet you and those flavours continue to dance onto the palate.
There are hints of sweet pineapple amongst fresh lively lime and lemon citrus oil and touches of lemon myrtle. The immediate thought when tasting the wine is of a delicious mouth full of creamy lemon pie. Then on the finish there is lingering spicy oak with nuances of anise.
Lemon sherbet shines with a whisper of pineapple and an enticing flinty/struck match suggestion. A creamy textural mouthfeel is the perfect foil for the flavours of citron tart and nuances of subtle white stone fruit.
The nose of this wine is all about bright red berry fruits and cherries with an intriguing touch of menthol. This Shiraz can be described as endlessly slurpable with more of those bright red berries and lovely smoky integrated oak.
Pronounced aromas of luscious blackberries and lively red berry fruits dance together with an abundance of sweet chocolate. The palate is textural and multi-layered with blackberry conserve, candied oranges, spices and fine silky tannins.
